The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a global crisis, resulting in numerous infections and fatalities. The only medication was to follow the guidelines set by the government. At Global Radiant Economic and Environmental Trust, we recognize the importance of raising awareness on following these guidelines among marginalized communities where people may not have access to proper information to control the spread of the virus. In response, we organized multiple awareness campaigns during the lockdown and pandemic period to educate people on the guidelines set by the government, such as washing hands with soap, maintaining social distancing, avoiding physical contact, and wearing masks to reduce the risk of infection. We believe that by following these measures, we can protect ourselves and our loved ones, and break the chain of infections.

Along with mask distribution, we have also distributed hand sanitizers among underprivileged rural people as proper sanitation and hygiene have become crucial to prevent the spread of the virus during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our volunteers conducted camps to ensure that everyone had access to this essential item and educate people about the importance of hand sanitization to stay healthy and protect themselves from this disease. Through this initiative, we promoted good hand hygiene practices and worked towards preventing the transmission of the virus. Our aim was to ensure that everyone had access to this essential item, regardless of their socio-economic status.
