Refund and Cancellation Policy for GREET

At Global Radiant Economic and Environmental Trust (GREET), we value transparency and accountability in all our operations. This refund and cancellation policy outlines the conditions under which donations, event registrations, and other contributions may be refunded or canceled.

1. Donations

  • Donations made to GREET are considered voluntary and are non-refundable.
  • Refunds for donations will only be provided in cases of a genuine error (e.g., duplicate transactions or incorrect amounts).
  • Requests for refunds must be made within 7 days of the transaction by contacting GREET via email at greet.org@gmail.com or phone at 9795431491.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 15 business days after confirmation.

2. Event Registration Fees

  • Cancellation by Participant:
    • If you register for an event and need to cancel, a full refund may be issued if cancellation is requested at least 7 days before the event date.
    • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 days before the event.
  • Cancellation by GREET:
    • If GREET cancels or postpones an event, participants will have the option to receive a full refund or transfer their registration to a future event.

3. Membership Fees or Subscriptions

  • Any fees collected for GREET’s membership or subscription services are non-refundable unless specified otherwise in the membership agreement.
  • Membership cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and no pro-rata refunds will be provided.

4. Products or Merchandise

  • Any physical or digital products sold through GREET’s website are eligible for a refund only if:
    • The product is defective or damaged upon delivery.
    • The refund request is submitted within 7 days of receipt.
  • To process refunds for merchandise, proof of purchase and evidence of defect (e.g., photographs) may be required.

5. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

  • Include the following information in your request:
    • Name and contact details
    • Transaction or donation ID
    • Reason for refund or cancellation
    • Supporting documents (if applicable)

6. Processing Refunds

  • All refunds approved by GREET will be processed through the original payment method used during the transaction.
  • The time taken for the refund to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider. Typically, it may take 7-15 business days.

7. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Donations made in response to urgent appeals or campaigns are non-refundable.
  • Payments made as sponsorships or toward corporate partnerships are not eligible for refunds.
  • Refund requests that fall outside the stipulated timeframe or do not meet the policy’s conditions will not be honored.

8. Dispute Resolution

In case of any disputes regarding refunds or cancellations, GREET will strive to resolve the matter amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh.
